A four-mile stretch of southbound Interstate 25 by Fort Collins shall be closed to visitors beginning 7 p.m. Friday for building on the north I-25 specific lane challenge.
The total closure of southbound I-25 from Mulberry Avenue to Concord Highway will final 16 hours, from 7 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday, based on the Colorado Division of Transportation.
Building crews will set up drainage pipes, overhead signal bridges and electrical and tolling tools in addition to work on concrete ending, the division introduced.
Southbound visitors will detour from exit 269A, head east on Mulberry Avenue and south on Colo. 257 to Concord Highway. After turning proper on Concord Highway, proceed west for the southbound I-25 ramp.
There shall be no entry to southbound I-25 from Prospect Highway through the closure.
As soon as accomplished, the challenge will add an I-25 specific lane in each instructions, change bridges and add inside and out of doors street shoulders.
