SpiceJet de-rosters two pilots for celebrating Holi inside cockpit | Latest News India

Two SpiceJet pilots have been de-rostered after they had been discovered celebrating Holi whereas on responsibility final Wednesday, a spokesperson for the airline stated. Each pilots positioned a glass of espresso on the middle console of the flight deck within the cockpit.

“Each pilots have been off rostered pending an inquiry. SpiceJet has a strict coverage for consumption of meals contained in the cockpit which is adhered by all flight crew. Applicable disciplinary motion will probably be taken upon completion of the investigation”, a SpiceJet spokesperson stated.

A Twitter consumer commented, “Appalling & extraordinarily unprofessional behaviour by @flyspicejet pilots. If the liquid (resting on the gasoline cutoff levers) spills, it could actually quick circuit the electronics affecting a variety of methods and compromise the plane’s means to fly safely”.
