(Reuters) -T-Cellular’s community was among the many methods hacked in a harmful Chinese language cyber-espionage operation that gained entry into a number of U.S. and worldwide telecommunications corporations, The Wall Road Journal reported on Friday citing folks acquainted with the matter.

Hackers linked to a Chinese language intelligence company have been in a position to breach T-Cellular as a part of a monthslong marketing campaign to spy on the cellphone communications of high-value intelligence targets, the Journal added, with out saying when the assault occurred.

“T-Cellular is carefully monitoring this industry-wide assault,” an organization spokesperson instructed Reuters in an e mail.
