The Desk Tennis Federation of India has suspended its secretary, former participant Kamlesh Mehta, throwing the faction-ridden federation into contemporary administrative chaos.
TTFI president Meghna Ahlawat, who’s spouse of former Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, and secretary Mehta have been representing totally different factions within the governing physique after being elected again in December 2022 as a part of a “compromise”.

When contacted, former India worldwide and Arjuna awardee Mehta stated he has not been formally communicated on his suspension.

“I’ve been listening to in regards to the suspension. I’ve not obtained something in written from TTFI. I’ve not been in a position to entry the official e-mail since yesterday.
“Agenda pushed politics is being performed as they (the opposite faction) by no means wished me as secretary within the first place,” claimed Mehta.

Committee of Directors (CoA) to take care of its day-to-day actions. Recent elections have been held in December 2022 when Ahlawat and Mehta have been elected.
