Bihar Chief of Opposition and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Tejashwi Yadav narrowly escaped a severe accident early Saturday morning when a truck allegedly collided together with his convoy, injuring his three safety personnel on Nationwide Freeway 22 close to Goraul in Vaishali district.
The incident occurred round 1:30 am when Yadav together with different celebration leaders have been coming back from a programme in Madhepura to Patna.
“We have been coming back from a programme in Madhepura and had stopped for tea. Whereas we have been stationary, a truck misplaced management and hit two to 3 of our autos proper in entrance of me. A few of our safety personnel have been standing there… Three of them received injured,” Tejashwi mentioned.
He added that the accident occurred “simply 5 toes away from him”.

“Had it been barely extra uncontrolled, it may have hit us too,” Yadav mentioned informing that the administration stopped the truck on the toll forward and detained it.
The injured safety personnel have been rushed to Sadar Hospital in Hajipur and are at the moment receiving medical consideration.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, with the detained truck driver being questioned to establish the reason for the accident. SP Vaishali, Lalit Mohan Sharma, mentioned, “The truck driver and the helper have been arrested, and the truck has additionally been detained. In response to our preliminary findings, the car first collided with a Bolero, after which it rammed into the convoy. As of now, our preliminary investigation has not revealed any proof of ingesting and driving.”
