
Teller County officers lifted pre-evacuation warnings for a 5-acre brush fireplace burning between Florissant and Divide on Friday, in accordance with the sheriff’s workplace.
The pre-evacuation warning for the Highland Lakes subdivision and folks dwelling north of U.S. 24 between Cougar Canyon Level and Decrease Twin Rocks Street was lifted at 5:15 p.m.
The fireplace is burning north of U.S. 24 midway between Florissant and Divide, the sheriff’s workplace stated. The reason for the hearth has not been decided, in accordance with the Bureau of Land Administration’s fireplace dashboard.
