There have been a few terse moments between Shaun Tait, Pakistan’s bowling coach, and journalists on the finish of day 4 of the second Check between Pakistan and New Zealand.

Tait replied: “That’s your opinion”.

Tait’s reply was framed thus: “You might be answering your query earlier than you ask it. You might be saying that’s your opinion. You might be saying performances have been poor – okay, that’s your opinion! What would you like me to say? Ask me the query”.

The journalist presumably (audio is inaudible) repeated the final a part of the query whether or not Tait was happy together with his efficiency as bowling coach.

Tait replied, “Sure, I’m happy!” And he smiled, obtained up, and left.
