Days after persuading a few of India’s prime wrestlers from throwing their medals within the Ganga river to protest police inaction towards Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in two circumstances of sexual harassment, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) chief Rakesh Tikait on Thursday stated “a consultant of the khap panchayat will meet President Draupadi Murmu and the federal government to debate the difficulty,” whereas strongly underlining that “these women won’t be defeated.”

Singh, who has repeatedly denied all expenses towards him, stated on Wednesday that he would hold himself if a single allegation is proved towards him.
Addressing a press convention afterward Thursday in Gonda district to focus on the achievements of 9 years of the Modi authorities, Singh stated alleged that the protesting wrestlers have been always altering their “calls for” and he would “hold” himself if their allegations are proved to be true.
“…First they (protesting wrestlers) had another demand and later they demanded one thing else. They’re altering their calls for and language repeatedly. I had stated that if even one case towards me will get confirmed, I’ll hold myself…I stand by my assertion..,” stated Singh.
In the meantime, Union Minister Anurag Thakur urged the wrestlers to belief the police because the probe towards Singh continues to be underway.
“The wrestlers ought to look ahead to Delhi Police to conclude their investigation and never take any steps which will trigger hurt to the game or aspiring wrestlers.
