The Congress organised a “Save Structure” rally in Tripura on Tuesday accusing the ruling BJP of misusing central businesses.
As part of its nationwide marketing campaign on defending constitutional values and democratic ideas, the Congress held a rally from the Agartala Press Membership protesting towards the “systematic misuse” of central businesses by the BJP-led central authorities.
Chatting with reporters, state Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha alleged that the central authorities had been incessantly focusing on Opposition social gathering leaders via the Revenue Tax Division, Enforcement Directorate, the Central Bureau of Investigation and different businesses to silence them.
The protest led to a minor scuffle with police after Congress employees tried to breach barricades close to the native earnings tax workplace.
Congress leaders later accused the central authorities of weakening democratic establishments and urged the individuals to unite to defend the Structure.
The social gathering had made related allegations on April 16 throughout a nationwide protest towards the ED chargesheet filed towards Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, amongst others, within the Nationwide Herald money-laundering case.
