Tripura to organise Jatra Utsav, as CM says govt is working to preserve traditional culture | India News

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha mentioned on Wednesday the state would organise a Jatra Utsav, including that the BJP-led authorities was working to protect custom, tradition and heritage, “not like” its predecessor.

“We talked concerning the outdated traditions which are slowly getting misplaced… We now have organised a Kirtan Sammelan. So we determined to conduct a Jatra Utsav,” he mentioned at Vivekananda Sardha-Satabarshiki Bhavan in Dharmanagar of North Tripura district.
