U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned on Tuesday he would possible prolong a deadline for China-based ByteDance to divest the U.S. property of quick video app TikTok.
The president mentioned in Could he would prolong the June 19 deadline after the app helped him with younger voters within the 2024 election. His feedback to reporters on Air Pressure One on Tuesday reiterated that sentiment.
“Most likely, yeah,” Trump mentioned when requested about extending the deadline. “Most likely must get China approval however I feel we’ll get it. I feel President Xi will finally approve it.”
