U.S. marshals this week arrested a person who had been wished by Lakewood police for greater than a 12 months after he was allegedly concerned within the capturing loss of life of a 14-year-old boy.
Philix Baca, 20, has been wished for first-degree homicide since April 2024, when police say he and others had been concerned within the killing of the boy, whom members of the family later recognized as Francisco “Cisco” Laqui.
Lakewood police on Wednesday realized that Baca was probably hiding within the Colorado Springs space, in line with a U.S. Marshals Service information launch.
Later that day, a job drive together with marshals and different native and federal police businesses tracked Baca to a house in northeast Colorado Springs, the place he was arrested.
Baca’s subsequent courtroom listening to is scheduled for Tuesday.
