Kyiv:
Ukrainian forces destroyed the Russian Navy’s Tsezar Kunikov giant touchdown ship off the occupied peninsula of Crimea within the Black Sea on Wednesday, Kyiv’s navy mentioned.
A Ukrainian information outlet revealed a number of movies displaying a column of smoke rising over the ocean off the southern coast of Crimea, in addition to helicopters flying over the ocean.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces, along with the Defence Ministry’s intelligence unit, destroyed the Tsezar Kunikov giant touchdown ship. It was in Ukrainian territorial waters close to Alupka on the time of the hit,” the navy mentioned on the Telegram messaging app.
There was no fast remark from Russia, which mentioned earlier that it had destroyed six drones within the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian navy intelligence company mentioned the Russian warship had been attacked with naval drones.
Ukraine has used uncrewed navy drones full of explosives to assault Russian warships to attempt to drive them out of the western components of the Black Sea, making it doable to open a delivery hall alongside a historically key export route.
In December, Ukrainian cruise missiles struck one other giant Russian touchdown warship in Crimea.
