Russian troops are advancing in 4 areas of the entrance line in jap Ukraine amid “fierce preventing”, Ukraine’s Deputy Defence Minister mentioned on Sunday.
“Fierce preventing is happening in every single place,” Ganna Maliar wrote on social media, including: “The state of affairs is kind of sophisticated”.
“The enemy is advancing in Avdiivka, Mariinka, Lyman sectors. The enemy can also be shifting ahead within the Svatove sector,” she mentioned.
Maliar mentioned Ukrainian troops have been advancing with “partial success” on the southern flank of Bakhmut, in addition to close to Berdyansk and Melitopol in southern Ukraine.
Within the south, she mentioned Ukrainian forces confronted “intense enemy resistance, distant mining, deploying of reserves” and have been solely advancing “step by step”.
