Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy voiced his outrage towards the Karnataka authorities and Prime Minister alleging that BJP leaders are utilizing Nadaprabhu Kempegowda’s title for politics.
Expressing anger over the scheduled unveiling of the statue of Kempegowda by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 11, Kumaraswamy stated, “If Narendra Modi is delivered to unveil the statue of Kempegowda, BJP is not going to get Vokkaliga votes”. He additional accused BJP of utilizing Kempegowda’s title for politics. He stated; “Utilizing Nadaprabhu Kempegowda’s title for politics is unforgivable”.

The previous Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy harshly criticized BJP and stated “individuals are watching what they (BJP) are doing”.
