A Uttarakhand man allegedly working as a bonded labourer in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli was rescued from Tarn Taran’s Dinewal village of Punjab’s Tarn Taran district Wednesday.
The person, who had allegedly been working there as a bonded labourer for 15 years, was rescued after a video of him on the shed prompted Uttarakhand’s political leaders and Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami to hunt the intervention of Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria.
