The India Meteorological Division (IMD) had already issued a yellow alert within the metropolis.

Yemalur which is near the HAL Airport was submerged in water. Many staff of IT corporations residing within the space took tractors to succeed in their workplaces.

Earlier in July, Karnataka suffered heavy floods on account of rain, after which rescue missions and aid work needed to be carried out. Chief Minister Bommai additionally needed to search monetary help from the Centre.
