Footage launched by South Korea’s Ministry of Nationwide Protection reveals the second North Korea blew up roads connecting it to South Korea.
It comes after Pyongyang vowed final week to chop off the roads and railways as soon as seen as symbols of inter-Korean cooperation, in a bid to “fully separate” the 2 nations.
The Korean Folks’s Military (KPA) described the transfer as “a self-defensive measure for inhibiting struggle”, claiming it was in response to struggle workouts in South Korea and the frequent presence of American nuclear property within the area.
It marks an escalation of hostility at a time when tensions between the Koreas are at their highest level in years.
