Westbound Interstate 70 reopened at Eisenhower Tunnel after a security closure, in keeping with the Colorado Division of Transportation.
A semi-truck caught hearth close to mile 209 in Summit County and prompted CDOT to shut the freeway, in keeping with the Colorado State Patrol. No accidents had been reported.
Westbound I-70 was closed for greater than an hour between exit 216 for U.S. 6/Loveland Cross and exit 205 for U.S. 6/Colorado 9/Silverthorne.
