IT providers agency Tech Mahindra on Sunday mentioned it was in “shut contact” with the household of its worker who has been allegedly detained in Qatar in reference to an ongoing investigation.

Amit Gupta, a senior worker on the agency, was detained by authorities in Doha on January 1, his household in Gujarat’s Vadodara has alleged.

“Amit Gupta was detained on January 1 and held for 48 hours with out meals or water. After that, he was locked in a room, and it has now been three months that he has been held in Doha.
