Winter in full glory: Hailstorm in Assam, snowfall in Kashmir | Watch

Winter has set in its full glory. Whereas some are braving the chills, others are soaking within the magnificence. As north, northwest and central India shivers in extreme chilly wave within the midst of dense fog, rain together with thunderstorm and hailstorm has hit many japanese and southern states. Two separate movies shared on-line by information company ANI confirmed how hailstorm lashed Assam’s Dibrugarh district on Tuesday, whereas Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam changed into a snow wonderland after receiving contemporary snowfall on Monday evening.

North India has been battling chilly wave for the previous few days, even because the IMD (Indian Meteorological Division) has predicted the scenario would proceed for no less than the subsequent 24-48 hours. Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh continued to witness dense fog amid plummeting temperatures.

In its newest bulletin, the IMD has forecast continuation of chilly to extreme chilly wave circumstances in north Rajasthan and in remoted pockets of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh for the subsequent two days, and in Himachal Pradesh for the subsequent 24 hours.

In Assam, gentle rain has been predicted on Wednesday with fog/mist and partly cloudy sky within the subsequent days until January 2.
