WI’s Pooran fined 15 per cent of match fee for criticising umpires during 2nd T20I against India | Cricket News

West Indies’ wicketkeeper batsman Nicholas Pooran, the hero of their two-wicket victory over India within the second T20 Worldwide, on Monday has been fined 15 per cent of his match charge for publicly criticising the umpires in the course of the match right here.

Pooran’s was a Degree 1 offence and he was discovered to have breached Article 2.7 of the ICC Code of Conduct for gamers and participant assist personnel, which pertains to “public criticism in relation to an incident occurring in a global match”.
