In a tragic incident, a 47-year-old girl was allegedly hacked to dying by a stalker on a busy street in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday, police stated.
The assailant was overpowered by native residents and handed over to police later.
On Thursday morning, whereas she was going for her work, the person attacked her with machete, police stated.

The incident came about on a busy street throughout workplace hours close to Peroorkada. Police stated, the lady died on approach to the hospital.
“The person boarded the identical bus wherein the lady was travelling within the morning. Quickly after alighting from the bus, each had a verbal altercation and the person, in a match of rage, took out the weapon he was hiding and repeatedly stabbed her,” stated a senior official.
Police stated the person, who was already married and had two kids, was staying with the lady for over 10 years and so they separated a while in the past over monetary points and strain from the person’s household.
In the previous couple of months, the lady had refused to fulfill him and so they had frequent fights, police stated.
