Workers from Bengal detained in Chhattisgarh, Mahua Moitra targets state govt, police | India News

9 migrant labourers from West Bengal had been detained by Kondagaon police in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar area, allegedly as a result of they’d been staying within the district for a number of days with out submitting paperwork to the native police.

The labourers are from the constituency of Krishna Nagar MP Mahua Moitra in West Bengal. She alleged it was a case of “kidnapping by the Chhattisgarh authorities and police”.
