An Iranian man nicknamed the “dirtiest man on this planet” for not having a shower for many years has died on the age of 94, state media reported on Tuesday.
Amou Haji, who didn’t wash for greater than half a century and was single, died on Sunday within the village of Dejgah within the southern province of Fars, IRNA information company reported.
Haji had prevented showering over fears of “getting sick”, the company quoted an area official as saying.
However “for the primary time a number of months in the past, villagers had taken him to a toilet to clean,” IRNA reported.
A brief documentary movie titled “The Unusual Lifetime of Amou Haji” was made about his life in 2013, in keeping with Iranian media retailers.
