Writer Banu Mushtaq inaugurates Dasara festival in Mysuru

Booker Prize winner Banu Mushtaq Monday inaugurated the historic Dasara celebrations organised by the Karnataka authorities in Mysuru, and supplied prayers on the Chamundeshwari Temple atop Nandi Hills.

Inaugurating the Mysuru Dasara, Mushtaq hinted on the opposition by right-wing teams about her inaugurating the festivities and mentioned, “Mom Chamundi has referred to as me… That is probably the most honourable second of my life.”
