12 of 26 ministers in Bommai-led BJP govt lose their seats in Karnataka polls

New Delhi: As many as 12 of 26 ministers within the outgoing BJP authorities in Karnataka have misplaced their seats on this week’s meeting election. 

Based on Election Fee information, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Main-Medium Irrigation and Water Sources Govind Karjol misplaced BJP stronghold Mudhol to the Congress’ Ramappa Balappa Timmapur by over 17,335 votes. Karjol had been successful the seat consecutively since 2004.
