NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday stated Ukraine “merely can not wait” for extra air defences as Kyiv pleads with Western allies to step up deliveries to stave off Russia’s assaults.
“Delays in supply of air defences will permit Russian missiles to hit extra targets and delays in supply of ammunition will permit Russia to press alongside the entrance line,” Stoltenberg stated.
“Ukraine merely can not wait. It wants air defences, ammunition and help now.”
