Sushi Sasa, which has been one in every of Denver’s favourite sushi eating places for 20 years, mentioned Monday that it has closed.
Situated at 2401 fifteenth St., Sushi Sasa was owned by Wayne Conwell, who began it in 2005 after working at Sushi Den and for “Iron Chef” Masaharu Morimoto.
“It has been an absolute pleasure and honor to guide Sushi Sasa for the previous 20 unimaginable years. Whereas all nice issues evolve, it’s time to embrace new alternatives. With blended feelings, we share the choice to finish this beloved chapter,” Conwell wrote Monday on Instagram.
“With the assist of so many gifted people, it has been our privilege to convey distinctive sushi and unforgettable eating experiences to Denver. We’re deeply grateful for the loyalty, belief, and recollections we’ve created collectively. Sushi Sasa has been a real labor of affection, and we are going to endlessly treasure the moments our group has shared with each one in every of you,” he added.
A number of different long-running eating places have introduced their closures in current days, together with Cafe Brazil, which closes this week after 32 years; the long-running Denver outposts of each Taco Home and Senor Burritos; and Fruition, from chef Alex Seidel, which is able to shut in January.
