A Regional Transportation District bus carrying six passengers slid off the highway Wednesday morning in Westminster amid the wave of snowy, icy climate, police stated.
The early morning crash occurred because the bus was headed to the RTD Park and Experience close to U.S. 36 and Sheridan Boulevard, the Westminster Police Division stated at 6:52 a.m. on X.
Police officers stated nobody was injured within the crash and all six passengers had been safely evacuated onto a brand new bus.
All however one lane of U.S. 36 is closed for the crash cleanup and investigation, police stated.
