The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Wednesday searched instructional establishments linked to Karnataka Dwelling Minister G Parameshwara, allegedly in reference to the gold smuggling case involving Kannada actor Ranya Rao.

The ED searches have been carried out at 16 premises. These included establishments owned by Parameshwara — the Sri Siddhartha Medical Faculty and Sri Siddhartha Institute of Know-how in Tumkuru and Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Medical Sciences in Nelamangala on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
