Stephen Miller drew main eye-rolls on Wednesday after crediting Donald Trump for his personal sense of vanity.
Throughout a chuckle-filled trade on Fox Information, host Jesse Watters requested the White Home deputy chief of employees for coverage how his ego was holding up amid experiences that his podcaster spouse, Katie Miller, might land a deal for her present with Paramount.
“Don’t fear, I’ve a really, very safe, intact ego,” Miller replied.
“Owing to the very fact, Jesse, that due to my appearances in your present, I’ve by no means had a bigger fan following. So your present has been nice for my ego and vanity,” he defined.
Miller, a key architect of Trump’s hard-line immigration agenda, then pivoted to hyping up the president himself.
“And most significantly of all, any man who works for President Trump is a person that may be very, very robust and confident in his function,” he mentioned.
“There’s nothing higher on your self-confidence than having the ability to work for President Trump, and that could be a blessing I’ve day-after-day,” he added.
Watters replied: “That’s proper. If you happen to don’t have it, he’ll flip you right into a puddle of tears.”
Critics on social media had … ideas.
