Aerial footage confirmed dense, black smoke billowing from a burning port in southern Turkey on Thursday, after it reignited once more.
The blaze at Iskenderun – one in all two predominant container ports on Turkey’s Mediterranean southern coast – was brought on by Monday’s devastating earthquakes.
The BBC witnessed a number of planes attempting to place out the flames on Thursday morning, a day after authorities stated the fireplace had been extinguished.
All operations have been shut down on the port following the quakes and main transport corporations have been pressured to divert their vessels to different terminals within the area.
Emergency companies initially discovered it troublesome to entry the fireplace due to earthquake injury and containers blocking the doorway.
