Fresh stone pelting in Howrah day after Ram Navami clashes | Kolkata

Contemporary stone pelting was reported in Howrah district of West Bengal, day after clashes between two teams throughout a Ram Navami procession within the industrial city. Video shared by information company ANI confirmed stone pelting whilst police personnel tried to manage the state of affairs.

Amid the stress prevailing in Howrah, chief minister Mamata Banerjee blamed the opposition Bharatiya Janata Celebration and different right-wing organisations for the violence.

“Howrah’s incident may be very unlucky. Neither Hindus nor Muslims had been behind the violence in Howrah. The BJP together with Bajrang Dal and different such organisations had been concerned within the violence with arms,” the chief minister instructed a Bengali information channel.
