MP GVL meets Andhra Governor seeking disclosure of SIT reports on Visakhapatnam land scams – ThePrint –

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], June 2 (ANI): BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao on Friday met Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazir and submitted a memorandum to the Governor for looking for disclosure of two Particular Investigation Group (SIT) studies concerning the land scams in Vishakhapatnam.

The governor was requested to direct the state authorities to launch two SIT studies on “land scams”, the memorandum mentioned.

The BJP chief mentioned that after the separation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014, large-scale land acquisitions had been dedicated in Visakhapatnam. GVL mentioned that the present YSRCP authorities and the earlier TDP authorities have intentionally stored two SIT studies secret on the land scams.

Rao, in his memorandum to the Governor, said that the earlier TDP-led state authorities had arrange a SIT in 2017, which had submitted an enormous report in 2018, and the current YCP authorities had additionally arrange a SIT in 2019. This SIT submitted its report in September 2021.

He complained that each the SIT studies on the “land grabs” haven’t seen the sunshine of day as a result of egocentric pursuits of the politicians.
