Steven Samuelson, 33, of Oakley, Kan., guilty of poaching in Colorado

After a virtually two-year Colorado Parks and Wildlife investigation, a Kansas man has pleaded responsible to poaching a bull moose he illegally killed in Teller County and left to rot.

On July 10, Steven Samuelson, 33, of Oakley, Kan., pleaded responsible in Teller County District Courtroom to willful destruction of wildlife, a felony, in addition to misdemeanor prices of searching with out a correct and legitimate huge sport license, aggravated unlawful possession of wildlife, failure to arrange wildlife for human consumption, searching in a careless method and unlawful take of wildlife, in accordance with a CPW information launch.
