Soccer analyst and former Premier League goaltender Shaka Hislop said Monday he is seeking “the best medical opinion” he can get, at some point after collapsing on the set of ESPN’s pregame present forward of an exhibition between Actual Madrid and AC Milan on the Rose Bowl.
The 54-year-old Hislop grew to become unsteady whereas speaking with colleague Dan Thomas and fell to the bottom, prompting Thomas to name for medical assist.
At halftime of the match, Thomas instructed viewers that Hislop was speaking and aware.
Neither Hislop nor ESPN has given a trigger for the collapse.
On Monday, Hislop shared a video message, tweeted by ESPN FC, saying he was grateful for an outpouring of concern and help.
