Adani to exit AWL Agri, sells stake to Wilmar for Rs 10,874 crore | Business News

The Adani Group is ready to totally exit AWL Agri Enterprise (previously Adani Wilmar Ltd) by promoting its whole stake to its three way partnership companion, Wilmar Worldwide of Singapore, for Rs 10,874 crore. Adani had earlier acknowledged, in December 2024, its intent to promote its full 44 per cent stake within the three way partnership to refocus on its core infrastructure companies.

As a part of the settlement introduced Thursday, Adani Commodities LLP (ACL) and Lence Pte Ltd confirmed that Lence will buy as much as 259.9 million fairness shares — representing 20 per cent of AWL Agri — from ACL.

In January 2025, Adani had already offered 13.5 per cent of its AWL stake by way of an Supply for Sale (OFS) at Rs 275 per share, to assist meet regulatory norms on minimal public shareholding. That decreased its holding to 30.42 per cent.

The Adani-Wilmar three way partnership initially had each events holding 44 per cent every. Beneath a previous settlement signed in December 2024, they’d additionally granted one another choices to purchase or promote shares at a mutually agreed worth, capped at Rs 305 per share.
