AIADMK to lead alliance in 2024 polls: TN BJP chief

The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) will lead the Nationwide Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, state Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP) chief Okay Annamalai has stated.

On Sunday, EPS had stated in Krishnagiri district that the AIADMK will lead a mega alliance and win the subsequent election. “We are going to win all 40 seats,” he had stated referring to 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu and the lone seat in Puducherry.

He additionally hit out at expelled AIADMK chief O Panneerselvam (OPS) saying there was no likelihood of bringing him again into the social gathering.

On Tuesday, OPS hit out at EPS for his remarks.

“Amma (J Jayalalithaa) gave me the chief minister’s submit. EPS is saying he made me deputy chief minister. Which submit is larger?” he advised reporters.

“And who gave him the chief minister’s submit? It was Chinamma (Sasikala)… And he has criticised Chinamma a lot. Individuals know who the traitor is. As a result of I’m a clear hand, Amma gave me the chief minister’s submit in 2001,” he stated.

He stated that quickly all issues shall be solved and added that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is more likely to come to Tamil Nadu quickly and he would want to meet with him.

He obtained help from TTV Dinakaran, who heads the AIADMK’s breakaway faction, who alleged that there was no distinction between EPS and chief minister and DMK president M Okay Stalin. “Each of them are autocratic,” Dhinakaran stated.
