An injured backcountry skier was rescued after getting caught in an avalanche Tuesday close to Berthoud Go, the Grand County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

Search and rescue crews responded to the avalanche at 3:17 p.m. after the skier was caught within the slide. They have been capable of get out of the avalanche particles however couldn’t ski out of the forest due to their accidents, sheriff’s officers stated.
