For every electrical bus, the federal government of India has funded ₹55 lakh and the Karnataka authorities funded ₹33.33 lakh. The buses are non-AC and 12-metre-long with a seating capability of 40 individuals, excluding the motive force. Additionally they have the power of a wheel-chair mechanism which can also be electrically operated. The power is for bodily challenged commuters of Bengaluru who board buses frequently.
