Comic Vir Das’ present, scheduled to be held on Thursday night in Bengaluru, was cancelled on the final minute following protests by a right-wing outfit.

A letter submitted on the Vyalikaval police station by Mohan Gowda, state spokesperson of the outfit, demanded that “(sic) this program be canceled instantly”.
