Disqualified, Rahul to vacate official bungalow following Lok Sabha directive

New Delhi: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi will vacate his official bungalow in Delhi after being disqualified as an MP final week.

In a letter addressed to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, he wrote: “As an elected member of the Lok Sabha for the final 4 phrases, it’s the mandate of the folks to which I owe the joyful recollections of my time spent right here.” He added, “With out prejudice to my rights, I’ll, after all abide by the main points contained in your letter”.

Quickly after his disqualification, the Housing Committee of Lok Sabha directed Gandhi on Monday to vacate his 12, Tughlaq Lane house, a transfer Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge labelled as an try to “scare, threaten and humiliate” the chief.
