Tensions flared after Trump appointed Ariel Abergel, a former Fox Information producer, as America250 government director in Could 2025.
Reginald Browne, a New Jersey businessman on the fee, stated Abergel had a “mission to hunt and destroy” their work.
Browne stated: “He was poorly guided by whoever was directing him to do no matter he was advised to do. I do not suppose it went to the best ranges, I feel it was someplace within the center.”
Freedom 250 was registered in October 2025 and have become a shadow group drawing taxpayer and donor cash.
Congressional Democrats claimed donors aspiring to assist America250 have been as a substitute given Freedom 250 financial institution particulars, allegations Danielle Alvarez, a Freedom 250 spokeswoman, referred to as a “partisan smear” and “categorically false.”
Browne stated: “A number of corporates did not know which group to sponsor, or if it was okay by the president to present cash to America250.”
