A 20-year-old lady’s household allegedly killed and cremated her in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district over a 12 months after she received married towards their needs, police stated on Friday.
Deputy police superintendent Jai Prakash Atal stated that the lady’s husband Ravindra Bhil alleged that she was kidnapped whereas withdrawing money from an ATM and later killed.
“Police initiated motion and found by means of investigation that the lady was killed and cremated by her relations. CCTV footage indicated the involvement of 4 to 5 people,” stated Atal. He added that the motive behind the homicide was below investigation.
Police stated that Bhil married Shimla Kushwaha towards her household’s needs round a 12 months in the past and relocated to Madhya Pradesh.
Bhil stated that his spouse requested him to strategy the police when she was taken away forcibly on Thursday. “I used to be later knowledgeable that she was killed and cremated by her relations,” stated Bhil.
