Westbound lanes of sixth Avenue are closed early Friday morning following a deadly crash involving a motorist and a pedestrian.
Visitors is being diverted off westbound sixth Avenue onto North Sheridan Boulevard. Commuters are suggested to take alternate routes as Denver Cops examine.
Police first shared information of the incident on social media at about 3:33 a.m. Friday and mentioned the driving force stayed on the scene following the crash. The pedestrian was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
