Fawad Khan’s The Legend of Maula Jatt enters Rs 100 crore club

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan on Monday shared that his newest launch The Legend of Maula Jatt has entered the Rs 100 crore membership. The actor took to social media to make the announcement about his movie.

Sharing the poster of the film on his Instagram account, Fawad wrote within the caption, “Becoming a member of the 100 Crore Membership. #TheLegendOfMaulaJatt in cinemas now, e-book your tickets immediately!”

The Legend of Maula Jatt additionally stars Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abassi and Humaima Malik in pivotal roles. It has been helmed, written and edited by Bilal Lashari.

The Legend of Maulana Jatt, a reboot of the 1979 basic, revolves across the lifetime of prizefighter Maulana Jatt, who’s tortured by his previous demons and seeks to win in opposition to probably the most fearsome fighters of the time, Noori Natt.

Speaking concerning the success of the movie, director Bilal Lashari instructed Deadline, “I’m past overwhelmed by the love the movie has acquired from audiences and critics alike the world over. We’re so proud that The Legend of Maula Jatt has been instrumental in placing Pakistan-made cinema on the worldwide map because it continues to win over hearts in theaters internationally.”

Fawad Khan enjoys an enormous following in India as nicely. Following his work in Hindi movies similar to Khoobsurat and Kapoor & Sons, the actor was banned from working within the Indian movie business as a result of a ban on Pakistani artistes.  The actor in a latest interview with Selection stated that if anybody from Indian would work with him, “fingers shall be pointed at them”.

Fawad stated, “I feel it’s extra of a query of whether or not another person want to work with me, as a substitute of me working with others, as a result of fingers shall be pointed at them. I’ll do my work and go away however then the individuals who’ll should undergo are those that wish to collaborate with me. And I care about them as a result of they’ll reside there, and so they’re going to undergo the implications.”
