Political strategist and longtime Donald Trump critic Steve Schmidt revealed a blistering evaluation Sunday of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), calling him a “parasitic sucker fish” and “the hollowest of hole males.”
Writing in his e-newsletter “The Warning,” Schmidt attacked Graham, who died at age 71 over the weekend, as an “unprincipled man who betrayed his nation for energy and his decency for consideration.”
Schmidt, who labored on the campaigns for George W. Bush and late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), recalled among the warnings Graham issued about Donald Trump earlier than his shock 2016 election victory, solely to later change into one of many president’s most loyal defenders.
