After an Arambai Tenggol chief was reportedly detained from Kwakeithel space in Imphal on Saturday night, protesters torched tyres and blocked roads in several components of Imphal metropolis together with the Tiddim street, Uripok in Imphal West district, demanding his instant launch.

Confrontations between safety forces and protesters have been additionally reported on the Kwakeithel space, leaving a number of injured.
