Biden Asks Congress For $13 Billion In New Ukraine Military Aid

Joe Biden’s administration requested Congress for greater than $13 billion in new army help for Ukraine.

Washington:

President Joe Biden’s administration on Thursday requested Congress for greater than $13 billion in new army spending for Ukraine, citing the necessity for continued help following Russia’s “unprovoked” invasion of the nation final 12 months.

The funding would help Ukraine and different weak international locations “impacted by Russia’s unprovoked and brutal invasion,” Workplace of Administration and Funds director Shalanda Younger wrote in a letter to Congressional chief Kevin McCarthy and others.
